| Purpose |

The NGA Policy Academy on Improving Outcomes for Young Adults with Disabilities is an inter-agency collaborative of 11 state agencies and one regional workforce board. The state received a technical assistance grant from the NGA which assists states in developing cross-agency collaboration and infrastructure to provide intergrated and comprehensive services to young adults with disabilities of the ages 14 to 30. |
| Goals |

- Coordination of current federal and state initiatives that affect the popoulation of young adults in CT. Within group activities, connect the existing efforts around the state taht are relevant to young adults with disabilities.
- Identify gaps and duplication in services; analyze the need for related non-employment supports for young adults who are currently not being served by the educational system or other agencies that may be qualified to serve young adults. Initiate Resource Mapping of services, funding streams, outcome measures, eligible populations.
- Data ingtegration efforts will be made by determining what the 'measureable objectives' of the project can be. Coordinate with other similar data intergration efforts going on around the state.
